Mark has been instrumental for our Men’s Premiership side over the last 13 years. First as a player, then assistant coach, and finally the guiding force, as head coach, for our team over the last 5 seasons.

He will be stepping down from the Head Coach role as the season has completed. Under his guidance, the team saw a significant transformation and turnaround this season, from a tough start, to making the Grand Championship Final. In true Valley form Mark and team signed the season off in style going 4-1 in round 3, winning an extremely hard fought semi-finals and losing by the slimmest of margins in the Premiership Grand Championship Final in the final minutes.

Over his 13 years with the Mens Premiership team, Mark has had a huge positive impact on our Men’s Performance program. He has helped develop countless players and coaches and has been a player/coach in numerous Grand Championship winning teams.

We are grateful for his time and dedication he has given to Valley RFC and he has without doubt added to the great legacy of Valley RFC!
