A surprisingly competitive, but thoroughly enjoyable game between both Valley Squad 4 teams. Despite having played together and against each other in our weekly training sessions, both teams flicked their switches to 'competition mode'. Cheetahs stormed ahead in the second quarter, gaining a comfortable 4-11 lead by the end of the first half. Jags defended extremely well in the third quarter, allowing Cheetahs only 2 goals, and creeping up to 7-13. Jags continued to play well in the fourth quarter, scoring the most goals in the last quarter than in any of the previous 3, getting 5 goals. However, Cheetahs also continued to play well, getting 4 shots of their own. The final score of Jags 12 - Cheetahs 17 reflects fairly on the game, and the Cheetah's win was well deserved. Jags MVP went to Charlie, who's strong defence throughout prevented the Jags from suffering a worse defeat.
