Valley Pumas are starting this season with majority being new players. Despite this the team is off to a great start winning their first game last week. The new team is cohesive in both play and communication which is evident on court.

Captain Hannah Minty won her team the advantage of first centre pass with Pumas capitalising possession and ending the first quarter 3-10 in favour of Pumas. GA-Ellie Christmas and GS- Georgie Flower dominating with their shooting abilities and accuracy.

The second and third quarter saw Griz Brits demonstrate amazing defensive skills as WD in the mid court. Defensively she was able to turnover the ball with 10+ intercepts which contributed to Pumas coming away with the win 30-15. Griz was awarded Player of the Match for her defensive skill and great play.
