The Societe Generale Valley Womens Premiership completed a stellar unbeaten season and have been crowned the HKRU Dettol Womens Premiership League champions. The management team led by Head Coach Bella Milo and Assistant Coach Justine Lavea, coached their side to a 10 game winning streak. By scoring 229 points and conceding only 65 points over the course of the season the team painted an accurate display of the club’s dominance of the women’s game in Hong Kong adding to multiple trophies won over the past decade.

Despite the various lockdown restrictions leading into the season Coach Milo managed to build a squad featuring a healthy blend of players with experience and new to the squad. The team featured 8 debutants for the Premiership side this season, including Kahei Yuen, Bernie Bray, Justine Lavea, Anna Marsland, Kayan Chan, Aislin Wu, Alexa Chan and Kea Herewini. A famous Valley name, Herewini - as Kea follow in the footsteps of her father, long time Valley stalwart Deano Herewini, leading the pack from the front!

With the recent announcement of the cancellation of the Grand Championships for the remainder of the season, the squad have earnt a well-deserved rest and will now focus their efforts on training over the summer period and enter the 2022/2023 season with a bang.
