Round 7 of the League saw Valley Lynxes taking on DB Black Jacks under cool, windy conditions in Wong Chuk Hang.
Lynxes rushed to the court in high spirits and began the game with a strong start, scoring the first few goals. GD and GK put high defensive pressure on the tall Black Jack shooters, while mid-court Lynxes worked tirelessly to drive the ball into the goal circle. Amazing intercepts were made, especially in the last two quarters. Our persevering Centre even got tangled up with Black Jacks' GK when they simultaneously reached the ball inside the centre-third (yes, in the centre-third. The match was so intense that we only spotted the GK was offside after the ball toss :D).
The Lynxes were able to work as a team around the goal circle, providing better options for the shooters to evade Black Jacks' defenses.
With Black Jacks' steady passes and accurate shooting throughout the match, Lynxes went down 10 to 22, but it was a well contested game with both teams finishing with momentum.
