Valley RFC is delighted to announce that our long-term relationship with the title sponsor, Societe Generale, has been extended for another three years, which includes a special event for rugby globally, end of 2023.

In a world filled with uncertainty, Valley RFC can now confidently plan for the future with the backing and support of Societe Generale, our most loyal partner of the Club’s 46 years of existence.

In its eighth season, the relationship continues to flourish and strengthen as the Club and Title sponsor look together beyond the pitches, courts and fields and further into the community - through charity, diversity and inclusion.

Valley RFC Chairman, Trey Deaver said, “the renewal of this critical partnership is a significant boost to the club’s lifeblood and provides certainty into the coming seasons. We are very fortunate and proud to be backed by such an iconic company as Societe Generale. They have rugby in their DNA, there is much alignment across our brands, and they are actively engaged and supportive. We really couldn’t ask for more”.

Societe Generale CEO Asia Pacific, Gaelle Olivier, reinforced the sentiment around the extension: “our partnership with Valley has gone a step further each season. Despite the last challenging months, we have worked together on meaningful programmes involving local communities, charity partners and our staff, putting the spotlight on important topics like women’s empowerment through sport, and now looking at giving the chance to underprivileged girls to discover sport with the guidance of a mentor. An exciting agenda towards our partnership’s 10-year anniversary for the 2023-2024 season.”
