WILDCATS Well, our second win of the season...better late than never!! We started off a bit wobbly and it took us a while to get into the flow of the game but having said that we were up by the end of the first quarter. We soon realised that they were quick at intercepting our long passes so we changed it up and focussed on making short sharp passes which seemed to pay off. Although it was a close game, Wildcats managed to stay up for the whole game, thanks to some tireless defending from our player of the match Meg. A good confidence boost going into our final week of games next week. LYNX A disappointing loss for the Lynx Ladies against the Kowloon Emeralds with only a one point deficit, which left final score at 13-14. Well done to the ladies for holding their composure and maintaining their sportsmanship during a very rough and agressive game. The first half of the game started off well where we found space and made good clean passes getting the ball down the court effectively, while during the second half of the match we became unsettled. Even though the nature of the game turned towards the end, we would like to congratuate our players of the match Peggy Tan and Lisa Auld who were just brilliant. Peggy managed to keep a strong presence in the mid court, whilst Lisa was amazing in the circle keeping our score as high as she could. Next week will be our week Lynx Ladies! PANTHERS (30-28) W
