COUGARS (13-21) L
Player of the match: Dana Maclennan
Match report:

Week 1 for the Cougars felt a bit like week 1! After a rather frantic and fast paced first half with everyone starting to get to know each other on the court, we levelled ourselves out for the second half. Working towards calmer passes and spacing across the court meant that we were able to win the last quarter! A good foundation to build on for the rest of the season as we bond together as a team. Congratulations to Dana Maclennan as MVP with some awesome interceptions.

WILDCATS (24-20) L
Player of the match: Lisa Bowen

LEOPARDS:  BYE

JAGUARS : BYE

CHEETAHS: Rescheduled

LIONS (4-21) L
Player of the match: Louise Fung
Match report:
It was a tough first game for Valley Lions against Kowloon Pearls, last year’s finalists. Defence worked tirelessly against the energetic attackers but the team was defeated 4-21. Congratulations to Louise Fung who was awarded player of the match for her calm approach and sound execution on the court in attack. It was a great way to start getting to know each other on the court and to identify the key areas to build on in training.

Lynx (9-27) L
Player of the match: Rachel Bend
