Valley Hockey is the natural home in Hong Kong for players of all abilities and backgrounds who want to play competitive hockey in an inclusive and highly sociable environment. We are one of the largest hockey clubs in the city with a rich history spanning over 40 years. We operate 6 men’s teams, 4 women’s teams, a Veterans’ team, and we run one of Hong Kong’s largest youth hockey section for youngsters (for more info on the youth hockey programme please visit the Youth information section on this website).

Our senior teams play in the Hong Kong Hockey Association (HHKC) league and cup competitions: for fixtures, results and other information please visit www.hockey.org.hk. The top mens and womens teams both compete in the premier divisions of the league. We also have teams all the way down to lower divisions for beginner players. New players to Hockey are also welcome - we have high quality training and coaching to help introduce you to the sport.

We are based at Happy Valley and play most of our hockey in the in-field area of the Happy Valley racecourse. We do not own facilities, choosing instead to invest in professional coaching, tours & socials whilst keeping subscription fees down for our members.

In Hong Kong the main competition season (winter league) runs from September through to May, with mixed summer social hockey from June to August. Training / pre-season begins mid August.

Training is once per week on weekday evenings; Women’s teams typically play league games on Saturdays whereas Men’s teams typically play on Sundays.

We are one of the most social clubs in Hong Kong, running multiple social events throughout the season.

As part of Valley RFC, our members are eligible to apply for tickets to the famous Hong Kong Rugby Sevens.
