The Valley Rugby Ladies are kicking off the new season all over China!
The Pre- Season tournaments started on September 4th with “Shanghai 7s Tour” and continued last weekend with HK Union 7s and Macau Beach Rugby 2010.
The Valley Ladies participated in the Shanghai 7s Club Division winning 2 out of 3 round robin games and walked to the Final. After a hard fought match against Anhui Province the team fell short by one converted try and came in 2nd Place in the Women's Club Division. All in all, the Shanghai squad had a great time on and off the field. Thanks to the Shanghai Sharks for a great tourney!
HK Union 7s squad went one and one in the round robin and got a place in the Plate Final against CWB. After a hard fought match the Valley Ladies won the HK Union 7s Plate Final with two converted tries putting the final score at 14x7.
The Macau squad won the Macau Beach Rugby Cup for the 3rd consecutive year. The Valley Ladies walked undefeated to the Final against Guangzhou Rams and won it 2x0. Both experienced and debut players engaged quickly displaying amazing support and rugby skills on the sand.

The Valley Rugby Ladies train every Tuesdays and Thursdays at Valley from 7:30PM to 9:00PM and new players with or with out rugby experience are welcome to join!
