Valley RFC is pleased to announce the recent signing of Katie Bradstock as Head Coach of Valley RFC Netball. Katie has been playing netball for more than 20 years and in more recent years taken on a number of coaching opportunities, along with running her own Sports Management company.
Katie’s game was characterised by her speed and strength and her on court determination accounted for the majority of her success. As a youngster Katie trained at the Australian Institute of Sport. Her time spent at the AIS developed a strong base where she could propel herself into competing in Australia's National Netball League, playing for the Sydney Swifts and Hunter Jaegers. Katie was also selected in the Australian U/21 squad.
While playing and training at the highest level of netball in Australia, Katie also managed to complete a degree in Teaching/Physical Education, making Katie great at coaching clinics and developing junior talent not only in netball, but a variety of sports.
Katie is also a member of Australia's Ultimate Frisbee Team, which recently tour Taiwan.
Valley welcomes Katie to the club, and to Hong Kong. The Valley Netball girls are excited to have her on board and are looking forward to a successful season.
