We're still appealing for players of all abilities to play on Saturday against the Bangkok tourists. This is a good chance to have a friendly knockabout on Saturday morning.

The mathematicians should have noticed that this means we only have 11 players so far - we definitely need more, especially from players prepared to don GK kit or blow a whistle for the match.

Please bring both sets of kit. It is most likely we'll play in red socks and white tops as RBSC will play in blue and yellow stripes. The current loose plan is to be there for about 10:00am play a bit of hockey from 10:30am onwards.

If that mouthwatering sporting occasion isn't exciting enough, don't forget that the first round of the Bledisloe Cup is on Saturday (in Melbourne) and will kick off at 6:00pm HK time. If you're looking for a venue to go to watch the match, the Doghouse in Wanchai will be a Valley sponsor this season, and you can get a discount with a Valley membership card or by wearing a shirt with the Valley logo.
