History is Made for Valley Men's Hockey

Congratulations ANGER. The Men's A-Team knocked off HKFC A 4-nil on Tuesday, April 29th to complete a fantastic regular season. There was a large Valley crowd down to support the boys as they took the push back. A cheer erupted as Dougal slotted the ball back to Undies and then proceeded to run off the pitch. ANGER dominated possession of the ball, and Buttler slotted home the first goal from a short corner. In his final game of the year, before heading off to Australia, Undies dribbled around the HKFC defenders like they were cones and put home another goal for a 2-nil ANGER lead.

ANGER FIGHT BACK

Last night at King's Park, Valley A had their final shot at Shaheen A for the regular season. The game started well as Valley won the coin toss and Valley got first push back. After taking the pushback, Anger flawlessly drove down the pitch with great passing to find a waiting Buttler in the "D" who put home the goal, 1-nil ANGER. Shaheen were a bit stunned as they have not been down much this season, and definitely right from the start of the game. Shaheen is a very good team and regrouped midway through the first half, taking advantage of a few turnovers to equal the game.

Bedlam shine over the Dark Side in Hop's second farewell

Bedlam shine over the Dark Side in Hop's second farewell

Bedlam maintained its post break form with a 3-1 win over KCC B, making
it 3 wins from the last 3 starts with 11 goals for and only 1 against.
Coach Undies was heard to exclaim "finally a team that listens to me",
as if using listening as an excuse for his poor first half Fantasy
League coaching results.

The game began with a fired up Bedlam controlling the match, KCC being
run all over the pitch and rarely entering into the Bedlam half.
Fearless centre half Hop, brought out of his Valley retirement from last

BEDLAM TURN UP LATE AT HV1

14.30 hrs was the scheduled start time for an important match against the
league leaders KNS. Recent results gave Bedlam the belief that they were
in with a very good chance of toppling the current champions.

However, the game got off to the worst possible start with a sleepy Bedlam
mid-field and defense allowing KNS to literally walk in 2 goal in the space
of 4 minutes. If this report was the KNS match report then the writer
would have to stop here as for KNS after the first 4 mins there was nothing
more for them to write about. Bedlam, who earlier in the season would have

The odds may have been stacked against DAMAGE with some key players missing and their ever vocal “B!tch” captain sidelined due to injury, so Extremists Dougal & Ar$e were summoned as the winter sun faded away from the valley swampland. Khalsa were also missing some regular players as they were no longer able to take advantage of the ‘register everyone in the B team so we can cheat our ar$es off’ loophole.

ANGER draw even with Scum "A"

The A-Team took on HKFC A on Sunday over at Scum's new facilities. The pitch looks nice and new, but with that comes very slick conditions, as the boys were slipping and sliding, but there was some good hockey played. ANGER looked strong early on and appeared to have Scum back on their heels, however, the early advantage was not capitalized on. Scum then was given a short corner which they were able to convert and go up 1-nil. However, a few moments later, Jason Parry scored to level the match at 1-all. HKFC was able to get a second goal before the close of the first half.

Bedlam took on Khalsa A at HV(1) as the start of the Rev. Dr. Franklin Graham began with his televised service. Thousands showed up to watch this game (or was it the view of the big Jumbo-tron in the center of Happy Valley). Anyway, the umpires (aka thieves of last week's victory) returned to the scene of the crime as Grossick and Malcolm blew the whistle to get things going.

Klee and the Damage boys had the last game of the day. There was no more spiritual advise being given out by the Reverend Graham, but there was loads of Valley supporters that stayed on after the ANGER game. With Muff filling in for Will, thinks looked bright, as Klee had a squad of 15 ready to go. There was a lot of back and forth early on. Scum "E" ran early and often, especially with Anti-Klee (white #58 - who forgot his white HKFC shirt and thus wore B!tch's white Valley shirt instead - good for the sponsors).

Ms. Bedlam Robbed by Man in Yellow - Police Manhunt underway

Last Sunday was a quiet evening in Happy Valley, an extremely pleasant one
in which to go shopping. Ms Bedlam set off with high hopes and arrived at
Elite’s emporium looking for bargains.

The first 15 minutes was complete bedlam, the purse was out and spending at
pace resulting in the Elite shopping assistants running wildly up and down
the aisles. However, this could not last and the Noel Edmonds cardigans were
re-grouped and sent out in front of goal.

The first goal came midway through the first half, and was a beautiful piece

Playing our division 4 foes - which every game against them seems to be a fight - Extreme proved that coming to training pays off. Since our last game we have focused on 2 key areas - long corners & setting up a screen to stop the opponents "16 free hits" both were pivotal in winning this game. The defense was attacking all night.

DAMAGE has had a rough start to the season but turned all that around last night when they out-foxed Rhoba A with tactics and strategy that was nothing short of masterful.

Carnage came fully loaded on Sunday - with a full squad of 16 players. The energy levels were high, as Carnage was attempting to keep up a recent good run. The first half was fairly even with KNS scoring the first goal of the game. Valley came back with a goal from Poppet to level the game. The second half found KNS in attack significantly more than the Carnage boys, who were struggling to put much pressure on the KNS defense. Muff entertained the crowd during a penalty flick with his impersonation of a seagull taking flight.

Bedlam finally got the season on track in a big way on Sunday morning against Pak Assn B. The Boys came out firing with Matt Brook putting away the first goal of the game. A big welcome back to Wazza and DJ who along with Guy, Wolfie and Hop kept the Pak B boys out of the 25. Jimmy K-B recorded his first hat-trick for Valley by scoring the next 3 goals and giving Valley a comfortable lead 2/3 of the way through the first half. Arnie Maurrissen, after a minor injury, came back on to the pitch to put Bedlam up 5-0 at half-time.

The Dutch boys were feeling pretty good about themselves coming into Sunday's game against The ANGER, after knocking off HKFC A the previous week. However, the Dutch supporters didn't quite match the numbers of Valley fans in the stands, and The ANGER came out attacking from the initial pushback. Valley proved early on that it wanted this game more - Gareth, Chima, J-Play, Neil & Jazza all had strong runs in the first fifteen minutes leading to multiple shots at goal including a tremendous shot by Gareth that just went over the crossbar.
