Wow what a start to the season, beating HKCC 18-15!
We should be really proud of our performance! We all gave 110% the whole game and looked like you'd been playing together for years not weeks!
We got off to a great start in the first quarter, pulling ahead with some great intercepts from Biggles, Emma and Sallie in defence and some great shooting by Helen and Mel. Then we maintained our lead throughout the rest of the game and kept ou cool even in the last quarter when CC made an effort to pull back.
