Panthers smash Pirates!
Not a bad start back to the season after a few weeks of non-stop Christmas parties, eating turkey and lack of training!
We went off hard from the start and pulled away to a comfortable lead of 9-2 by the end of the first quarter. Although we could have tightened up our game in places (mainly basic things like passing) we soon got back into the swing of things becoming stronger and more confident with each quarter we played.
The final score of 43-11 was a comfortable win, but we still worked hard right up until the last whistle.
Next weeks game against Black Magic will be a good test to see how much we have improved since the start of the season and how quickly we have managed to gel as a new team!
