Panthers go head-to-head with Black Magic for 1st match of the season...
We faced a tough team for our first game of the season and unfortunately lost 25-15.
However considering we had a completely new line-up, with 6 out of our 8 players brand new to Panthers, we played really well.
Our defending the whole way down the court was excellent and in the last quarter we really pulled together and played much better as a unit.
I think the most positive aspect of our performance was the fact that everyone kept fighting right up until the last whistle and everyone remained positive and focused throughout the whole game.
Let's keep up this enthusiasm and determination for the rest of our matches girls and I'm sure we'll have a great season!
