Another year of Carnage and another year of squad upheaval. Welcome one and all to the esteemed C team, the only Valley hockey team to win a season long tournament this century!!! Carnage has many proud traditions, very few of which have anything to do with hockey, and we welcome you all, the young and old, round, gangly, spotty, hungover and crazy.

The last few years have seen major change within Carnage. Two years ago we won the HKHA Cup, defeating our nemesis KCC 'B' with a last minute winner from Jason, but on the back of their successes (including 3 consecutive 2nd places in Div 2) the team was disbanded to bigger and better things. For example, two of that group are now captaining Valley's A and B teams. However worse was to come when due to some league re-alignments we were promoted to Div 1 for the first time ever. A new group of players performed miracles to even be moderately competitive with the likes of Dutch, but ultimately will be stronger for their experiences and the fact that they stuck together as a team throughout it all. Highlights included our one win of the year against the Vets, Martell being struck by the ball and needing plastic surgery to restore his "good looks", holding Dutch to 0-0 for 63 minutes (Martell got hit by the ball in the 64th!) and José's massive pitchside chunder.

Due to yet more re-alignment, despite finishing last we remain in Div 1, but with an influx of new players, our squad this year looks far more competitive, despite the loss of Turnip to other pursuits, and Muppet and Flemo who have moved to the B's, amongst others. Flemo's departure leaves Kate (pictured) as Carnage's longest serving member, having been on the team since the beginning of time. Whether this means he has never got any better (or worse) is up for debate!
