Great turnout yesterday and a significant improvement on our last match as we had a full team out warming up before a single one of the opposition showed up.
The commitment was also evident on the pitch and Carnage took total control leaving them to resort to long ball hit and hope moves to get into our D.
The had a number of shorts which were well defended and drew a good save from Muff who was guest keeper for the day. Our midfield dominated and had no problem getting the ball up front where Kilburn and Posh were running rings around them and threading balls into the D, one of which was turned into the goal for a deserved 1-0 lead after 10 mins.
The league leaders were looking anything but and were starting to disentigrate by arguing amongst themselves and with the umpire.
It was a great start but unfortunately the game descended into farce when the opposition accused the umpire of cheating and he walked off and abandoned the match!
We are yet to find out how the HKHA will respond but I will let you know....
