With the decision to field 11 players and no goal keeper this was a game that the Angels should have gone into double figures for the score line...
After a frustrating start with several penalty corners and very little conversions we amped up the pressure on the KCC girls who did well to defend their D!!! (Especially the ex-goalkeeper that kept using her feet to kick the ball in the D and giving away the PC's - We got her everytime :-)
Once again we took a little bit of time to get into full swing of the game and KCC gave us a couple of scares on the counter attack and with no goalie it proved a little challenging for our defenders + Dora! Who did an awesome sit down/dive on the line to keep one ball out! Well done for braving the field!
Our strikers did well to hang out at the posts and get their sticks on the shots that were coming in high volume for this game! Makes a great change to our game last season...we are getting shots on target and scoring goals!!!
1 of the 15 or 20 odd PC went to plan when Kelly ran for a deflection on the P spot and just got her stick on the ball! Text book goal...
Another PC however was very close to becoming a text book goal had Etch kept her face on her stick and slightly lower to the ground...however it was a marginal miss...
All in all we strung a series of good passes together and got the ball moving well around the pitch ladies. Very positive on the attacking front and the back and around is coming along - 'work in progress'

Next game CLUB A!!! Lets keep up the intensity, discipline on the ball and hunger for goals and bring our game to them!!!
