Children from 4 to 14yrs are welcome to join our MINI HOCKEY and YOUTH HOCKEY programmes. Valley Academy Hockey is dedicated to bringing the enjoyment of our great game to a new generation of players.
We aim to provide them not only with Hockey Skills but a lifelong enjoyment of sport.
Valley RFC employs professional coaches from around the world in particular Europe and Australasia. The benefit for our Mini and Youth Hockey being the latest ideas and techniques being injected into our game, from current high grade players.
Last year saw our first dedicated Under 6 group to compliment our current Under 8’s, 10’s and 12’s. This year we are introducing the U14 group who will train alongside the U12's from 9am-10am on Saturday mornings
Players not only get regular coaching sessions but are welcome to join in tournaments from Under 8 to Under12. Under 12 Players can also play in the Under 12 League to prepare them for Youth Hockey competition.

Youth Hockey takes our Mini Hockey players as well as newcomers from 12 to 14 years of age and expands their skills base and experience to prepare them for senior Hockey.
Players over 14 years old (on the 31st of August) are encouraged to join the senior section where you will be placed in an appropriate team whereby your skills will be nurtured alongside experienced players.
Sticks, Shin Pads, Mouth Guards, Balls, Gloves, if you need equipment our coaching staff will be happy to assist you.
